Having seen so many people take post photos of the Harvest Moon (or, as popularly referenced, the super moon), I too wanted to jump on the bandwagon.
Unfortunately, tiredness got the better of me and by the time I got up, Selene had driven her moon chariot far, far away.
The disappointment over the missed opportunity quickly melted away as I saw the first rays of the sun making their appearanc over the village of Hal Safi.
It was a breathtaking sight, one that is so typical of early morning during the Maltese summer, including a church dominated skyline.
Want to visit Hal Safi? If so, directions can be found here.
